Description

Unc93b1 is a 12 pass transmembrane protein highly conserved in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). Unc93b1 plays a role in the transport of TLRs from the ER to the cell surface or endosomes where they can engage pathogens nucleotides and trigger signaling cascades. Mutations in the Unc93b1 gene have shown to cause susceptibility to some common infections (HSV hypersensitivity in humans, and mouse cytomegalovirus).

Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by intracellular immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 0.06 µg per million cells in 100 µL volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
