Chemokines are small proteins that regulate chemotaxis or the migration of cells. Some chemokines, like CXCL12 and CXCL13, have homeostatic functions and play a role during basal leukocyte trafficking and stem cell development. Inflammatory chemotactic proteins, like CCL2, CXCL10, and XCL1, are upregulated by an inflammatory stimuli and help to recruit immune cells to a site of infection and can function in wound healing. Given their roles, many chemokines are associated with pathophysiology including tumor metastasis, chronic inflammation, and autoimmune disease.

Recombinant Mouse CCL2 (MCP-1)

Recombinant mouse CCL2 (MCP-1) chemoattracts the THP-1 human monocytic cell line in a dose-dependent manner.

Simultaneously quantify up to 13 chemokines in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants or other biological fluids with one of our LEGENDplex™ chemokine panels for human, mouse, or NHP samples. Only need to look at a subset of chemokines? Mix and match any panel to only look at the targets you need.
