Excellent for Staining Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells by Flow Cytometry (Alexa Fluor® 647 anti-human CD31)
Overall: | Product Quality: | Ease of Use:
This antibody resulted in bright staining and easy identification of CD31-positive cells from human PBMC. |
Experimental Design |
Application: | Flow Cytometry |
Cells used: | human PBMC isolated from whole blood by Ficoll |
Brief Protocol: | Approximately 1x10^6 cells were incubated with Alexa Fluor 647-conjugated anti-human CD31 antibody at a dilution of 1:20 (0.5ug) for 1 hour on ice in the dark in a total volume of ~100ul FACS buffer (PBS+2% FCS, 1mM EDTA, 0.1% sodium azide). Following incubation, cells were washed twice with FACS buffer and immediately analysed. |
Results Summary: | Cells stained with anti-CD31 are shown in the bottom panel, where CD31-positive cells are easily distinguished from non-expressing cells. Cells incubated with an Alexa Fluor 647-conjugated matched isotype control are displayed in the top panel. |
