C57BL/6 mouse frozen brain section was fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde (PFA) for 10 minutes at room temperature and blocked with 5% FBS for 30 minutes at room temperature. Then the section was stained with 10 µg/ml of anti-GFAP (clone 2E1.E9) purified overnight at 4°C, followed by 2.5 µg/ml of anti-mouse IgG2b (clone RMG2b-1) Alexa Fluor® 594 (red) for 2 hours at room temperature. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue). The image was captured by 10X objective.

Description

The RMG2b-1 monoclonal antibody reacts with immunoglobulin G2b (IgG2b) in all tested mouse haplotypes (Igh-a and b). It does not react with other isotypes. The RMG2b-1 monoclonal antibody may be used as primary or secondary reagent for ELISA or immunofluorescent analysis.

Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunohistochemical staining on frozen tissue sections. For immunohistochemistry, a concentration range of 5.0 - 10.0 µg/ml is suggested. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

* Alexa Fluor® 594 has an excitation maximum of 590 nm, and a maximum emission of 617 nm.
