Description

Ovalbumin (OVA) is the main protein found in egg white, making up 60-65% of the total protein. Ovalbumin is an important protein in several different areas of research and commonly used to stimulate an allergic reaction in mice, e.g. established model allergen for airway hyper-responsiveness. The TOSG1C6 monoclonal antibody reacts with ovalbumin.

Application

ELISA - Quality tested
Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by ELISA assay. For use as an ELISA standard, a concentration range of 930-6000 pg/ml is recommended. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance.

Application Notes

The purified TOSG1C6 antibody is useful as a standard for mouse anti-ovalbumin IgG1 ELISA assay, when used in conjunction with 10 µg/ml of chicken egg albumin (ovalbumin) as the coating solution and biotinylated anti-mouse IgG1 Antibody (Cat. No. 406604) as the detecting antibody.
