Description

The mouse FCMR (also known as FcµR, FAIM3, TOSO) is a type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein that belonging to the immunoglobulin (Ig) gene superfamily. FcμR had a molecular weight of ~60-kD. In mouse, FCMR is expressed only on B lymphocytes and not on T cells, NK cells, dendritic cells, or myeloid cells. FCMR is involved in the regulation of humoral immunity including IgM homeostasis and B cell survival.
