Western blot of anti-SynDIG1 antibody (clone L42/17). Lane 1: Molecular weight marker; Lane 2: 20 µg of human frontal cortex lysate; Lane 3: 20µg of mouse brain lysate; Lane 4: 20 µg of rat brain lysate. The blots were incubated with 5 µg/mL of L42/17 or mouse IgG2a, κ overnight at 4°C, followed by incubation with HRP-labeled goat anti-mouse IgG (Cat. No. 405301). Enhanced chemiluminescence was used as the detection system.

SynDIG1 is a type II transmembrane protein, which has been reported to regulate synaptic AMPA receptor content in rat hippocampal neurons in an activity-dependent manner. It has been found to be co-localized with AMPA receptors at both post-synaptic terminals and extra-synaptic regions.
