Immunofluorescence Using Anti-Mouse CD31
Overall: Product Quality: Ease of Use:
Immunofluorescence staining using the product as a primary antibody to visualize blood vessels in mouse intestine.
Experimental Design

Application: Immunofluorescence
Cells used: Pre-fixed, frozen mouse small intestine
Brief Protocol: A 7 micron section of a frozen, PFA pre-fixed mouse small intestine was washed in 0.1% tritonX-100 and blocked in 5% goat serum in 1% BSA in PBS. Section was then stained with the product overnight at 1:100 at 4 degrees C. Secondary antibody used was goat anti-rat Alexa Fluor 594 at 1:200. Section was then DAPI stained, mounted, and imaged with a Zeiss confocal microscope.
Results Summary: The product stained blood vessel-like structures in the mouse intestine cleanly.
Additional Notes: Some staining of rounder myeloid-like cells was also evident. DAPI is shown in blue. CD31 staining is shown in red.
