This is very good anti-GFAP antibody.

Experimental Design

Application:	Immunohistochemistry
Cells used:	Mouse Dorsal Root Ganglion Sections
Brief Protocol:	Dorsal horn of mouse spinal cord stained with mouse GFAP (BioLegend# 835301). Mice were perfused with 4% PF, spinal cords dissected, postfixed overnight in the same fixative, cryoprotected and frozen sections were cut on cryotome. Sections were permeabilized in 1% triton for 1 hour, followed by blocking step in 10% normal donkey serum. Then primary antibody were applied overnight. Secondary antibody (donkey-anti-Mouse Cyanine3 conjugated) were applied for 2 hours. Sections were rinsed, counterstained with DAPI, coverslipped and imaged under Leica confocal microscope.
Results Summary:	Satellite Cells surrounding neuronal cell bodies are prominently labeled with this anti-GFAP antibody.
