Cells used: | Human PBMC |
Brief Protocol: | PBMC were isolated from blood by centrifugation over Ficoll. PBMC were washed twice in PBS and stained for 15 minutes at room temperature with the recommended dilution of anti-CD19 Pacific Blue™ in 100uL FACS buffer (PBS w/2% FBS and 0.09% sodium azide). Cells were washed twice with 2mL FACS buffer and analyzed on a BD LSR II. |
Results Summary: | Pacific Blue™ CD19 staining was dim, with positive cells barely resolvable from negative cells. |

Pacific Blue™ is a relatively dim fluor (a 2 on our scale of 1-5). In certain situations, they enhanced brightness of Brilliant Violet™ 421 (5 on a scale of 1-5) may be more suitable for certain samples. For troubleshooting help, please don't hesitate to contact tech@biolegend.com. |
