Easy to use and provides great staining for Ki-67 |
Experimental Design |
Application: | Ki-67 staining |
Cells used: | Murine bone marrow cultured ex vivo in the presence of M-CSF for 3 days. |
Brief Protocol: | Followed recommended protocol from product info. |
Results Summary: | great! |
Additional Notes: | Diluted fix / perm buffers with tissue culture grade PBS (l think it has an additional salt thats not listed in the PBS recipe on the product info, but it still worked fine). I also tested the True-Nuclear Buffer in a side-by-side comparison and it was terrible - I much prefer this even though the website suggest the True-Nuclear Buffer is recommended. The same cells were used in both conditions. The top two rows of the images utilized the FOXP3 Fix/Perm Buffer. The lower two rows of images used the True-Nuclear Transcription Factor Buffer. |

Technical Service Notes |
Please note that the True-Nuclear Transcription Factor Buffer has not been tested, validated, or recommended for staining with Ki67. The recommended protocol with ethanol fixation can be found on the product webpage. Alternatively, we have found the FOXP3 Transcription Factor Buffer (Cat#421403) has worked well with Ki67 staining. |
