IHC staining using purified anti-human Ig light chain λ antibody (clone MHL-38) on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded human tonsil tissue. The tissue was incubated with 5 μg/mL of anti-human Ig light chain λ antibody and co-stained with 5 μg/mL of pan-B cell marker CD19 overnight at 4°C, followed by incubation with 2.5 μg/mL of Alexa Fluor® 647 goat anti-mouse IgG antibody (yellow) (Cat. No. 405322) and 2.5 μg/mL of Alexa Fluor® 594 goat anti-rabbit IgG antibody (red) (Cat. No. 406414) for one hour at room temperature. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue) (Cat. No. 422801), and the slide was mounted with ProLong™ Gold Antifade Mountant. The image was captured with a 40x objective. Scalebar = 50 μM.

Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 0.5 µg per 106 in 100 µl staining volume or 100 µl of whole blood. For immunohistochemistry, a concentration range of 5 - 10 µg/mL is suggested. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Application Notes

Clone MHL-38 is not compatible with Human TruStain FcX (Fc Receptor Blocking Solution) (Cat. No. 422301 & 422302).
