Fluorescence Staining of Mouse Intestinal Tissue (Alexa Fluor® 488 Goat anti-mouse IgG)
Overall: Product Quality: Ease of Use:
This antibody generates strong signals and seems to have a good specificity with little nonspecific staining.
Experimental Design

Application: Flow Cytometry
Cells used: Mouse intestinal tissue
Brief Protocol: Min+ mice were sacrificed and tumor polyps from intestinal tissue were collected and snap frozen. Cryo sections were prepared and used for staining the intestinal tumor epithelial cells. Sections were fixed and then blocked in 5% FBS buffer. Then sections were stained with anti-β Catenin 1 antibody followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 anti-mouse IgG staining. Slides were coverslipped with mounting medium and analyzed under fluorescence microscopy.
Results Summary: Positive cells were found with strong green color in intestinal tumor tissues.
Additional Notes: We use it for 2nd antibody staining, and it generates strong signals and seems to have a good specificity with little nonspecific staining.
