This antibody specially recognized the cells derived from bone marrow with CD45.2 antigen.

Experimental Design

Application:	Flow cytometry
Cells used:	Peripheral blood cells from transplanted mice
Brief Protocol:	Total bone marrow cells from mice (CD45.2 positive) together with an equal number of competitor bone marrow cells from mice expressing CD45.1 antigen were transplanted into lethally irradiated recipients (CD45.1 positive). Approximately 50 µl of tail vein blood were collected, washed with ice cold PBS and resuspended in red blood cell (RBC) lysis buffer for approximately 5 minutes on ice. After washing one time with PBS, the cells were labelled with APC-CD45.2 (1:200) and FITC-CD45.1 (1:200) for 20 min at room temperature. The cells were then analyzed by flow cytometry.
Results Summary:	The signal is very strong and easier to distinguish positive cells from negative ones.
