Frozen human tonsil section was fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde (PFA) for ten minutes at room temperature and blocked with 5% FBS for 30 minutes at room temperature. Then the section was stained with 10 µg/ml of purified anti-human CD19 (clone SJ25C1) overnight at 4°C, followed by 2.5 µg/ml of Alexa Fluor® 594 Goat anti-mouse IgG (clone Poly4053) (red) for two hours at room temperature. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue). The image was captured by 10X objective.

    Human paraffin-embedded placenta tissue slices were prepared with a standard protocol of deparaffinization and rehydration. Antigen retrieval was done with Tris-Buffered Saline 1X (1.0M, pH 7.4) at 95°C for 40 minutes. Tissue was washed with PBS/0.05% Tween 20 twice for five minutes and blocked with 5% FBS and 0.2% gelatin for 30 minutes. Then, the tissue was stained with 10 µg/ml of purified anti-human CD309 (clone A16085I) at 4°C overnight, followed by 2.5 µg/ml of Alexa Fluor® 594 anti-mouse IgG (clone Poly4053) (red) for two hours at room temperature. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue). The image was captured with a 10X objective.

    HeLa cells were fixed with 1% paraformaldehyde (PFA) for 10 minutes and blocked with 5% FBS for 30 minutes. Then the cells were stained with 10 µg/ml of purified anti-human EGFR (clone AY13), followed by 2.5 µg/ml of Alexa Fluor® 594 anti-mouse IgG (clone Poly4053) (red). Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue). The image was captured by 40X objective.

Description

This polyclonal goat anti-mouse IgG antibody reacts with the heavy chains of mouse IgG and with the light (kappa and lambda) chains common to most mouse immunoglobulins. No cross-reactivity has been detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. This antibody has been solid-phase absorbed to ensure minimal cross-reaction with rat, human, bovine, horse, and rabbit immunoglobulins, but it may have minimal cross-reactivity with other subclasses of mouse immunoglobulins.

Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescence staining. For immunofluorescence microscopy, a concentration range of 2-10 μg/ml is recommended. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. For immunohistochemical staining on frozen tissue sections, the suggested use of this reagent is 2.5 - 5.0 µg per ml. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. For immunohistochemical staining on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, the suggested use of this reagent is 2.5 - 5.0 µg per ml. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

* Alexa Fluor® 594 has an excitation maximum of 590 nm, and a maximum emission of 617 nm.
