Immunoglobulin G1, or IgG1, is a type of antibody. Humans express four types of IgG (IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, and IgG4). Antibodies in mammals are complex proteins, composed of four independent amino acid chains. The molecule is formed by two identical heavy chains and two identical light chains, and produced by B cells. The FcγR molecules (CD16, CD32, and CD64) on the surface of various immune cells can bind IgG1, IgG2, and IgG4.
