Detection of human plasma chemokine levels using LEGENDplex technology.

Experimental Design

Application:	Multiplex (chemokine detection from human allergic patients)
Cells used:	Human plasma
Brief Protocol:	Before loading samples on plates, plasma was centrifuged at maximum speed for 10 minutes, 4 degrees C to remove possible debris and prevent clogging. Plates were washed with vacuum manifold. Other than that, followed directions in the booklet provided with the kit exactly. Everything was done in a single day (although a long one), including running samples on flow cytometer (BD LSR II).
Results Summary:	Detected most chemokines in the panel at predicted concentrations, some chemokines were elevated in patients with allergies.
Additional Notes:	Chemokines were detected at concentrations comparable to EMD Millipore Luminex magnetic kits that ran previously, results were consistent too.
