N3469_HRP_Stronin-2_Antibody_1_052918
Western blot of HRP anti-Stonin-2 antibody (clone N346/9). Lane 1: Molecular weight marker; Lane 2: 20 µg of human brain lysate; Lane 3: 20 µg of mouse brain lysate; Lane 4: 20 µg of rat brain lysate. The blots were incubated with 0.02 µg/mL of clone N346/9 or mouse IgG2b overnight at 4°C. The blot that was incubated with mouse IgG2b was incubated with HRP‐labeled goat anti‐mouse IgG (Cat. No. 405306). Enhanced chemiluminescence was used as the detection system.

Description

Stonin-2 (STON2), also known as stoned B homolog 2 (STN2 and STNB), is an adaptor-like protein involved in endocytosis. Stonin-2 is regulated by AP-2 and facilitates internalization of synaptotagmin for recycling within the neuron.
