Lysis Buffer for Cell Staining

Using the cell lysis buffer to lyse RBC's for cell surface staining.

Experimental Design

Application:	Flow Cytometry
Cells used:	Whole blood in EDTA
Brief Protocol:	The whole blood is incubated with the appropriate cell surface markers for 30 mins. Then the lysis buffer is added to lyse red blood cells. The cells are centrifuged and washed again with wash buffer to take out excess lysis buffer and pellet is resuspended in buffer and read the instrument.
Results Summary:	Works well for red blood cell lysis in dogs, cats etc.
