Experimental Design

Application:	Immunocytochemistry
Cells used:	Primary Rat Dorsal Root Ganglion culture
Brief Protocol:	Primary Rat Dorsal Root Ganglion cultures were fixed in 4% PFA, permeabilized in 1% triton for 1 hour, followed by blocking step in 10% normal donkey serum. Then primary antibody (mouse anti-MAP2, BioLegend #801801; rabbit anti-RIM1/2, SySy #140-203; Human anti-HU custom antibody) were applied overnight. Secondary fluorescent antibodies (donkey-anti-Mouse Cyanine3, donkey-anti Human Cy2, donkey anti-rabbit Cyanine5 conjugated) were applied for 2 hours. Coverslips were rinsed, counterstained with DAPI, mounted to a glass slide and imaged under Leica confocal microscope.
Results Summary:	Specific detection of neuronal cells.
