Alexa Fluor® 488 is an excellent fluorochrome for detecting PD-1 expression in T cells.

Experimental Design

Application:	Flow cytometry - Surface staining
Cells used:	Human PBMC
Brief Protocol:	PBMC were isolated from blood by centrifugation over Ficoll, washed twice in PBS, and stimulated overnight with anti-CD3/CD28 beads. Cells were washed twice and stained for 20 minutes with anti-CD279 Alexa Fluor® 488 (as well as CD3, CD4, and CD8 antibodies). Cells were washed twice and analyzed on a BD LSR II.
Results Summary:	PD-1 staining was as expected.
