How our past recipients have used their award

My research interest would be looking at single extracellular vesicles (EVs) analysis by flow cytometry. I would ideally want to find a way to use EVs as a diagnostic tool for certain diseases. I am still a student studying at New York University, and this is my first CYTO conference! Thank you so much!

Kevin Guan | New York University

I am an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and an Independent Scientist in Molecular Neurobiology at the Campbell Family Mental Health Research Institute in CAMH. I am the Head of Cellular-Immune Interface in Neuropsychiatry-CeLIINe Lab. The BioLegend Travel Award will support my research with brain-derived extracellular vesicles and peripheral biomarkers in neuropsychiatric illnesses.
