Our portfolio of trusted, expertly-crafted resources includes Avi-tag biotinylated recombinant proteins that offer key advantages for researchers.

  • Consistent labeling: Biotinylation only occurs on a single lysine residue within the Avi-tag.
  • Uniform orientation: Precise control of biotinylation means the Avi-tag protein exhibits uniform orientation when binding to a streptavidin-coated surface.
  • High bioactivity: Because biotinylation is restricted to the single, unique Avi-tag site, the natural binding activities of the target protein remains unaffected.

Our Avi-tag biotinylated proteins are held to the same rigorous quality testing standards as all of our recombinant proteins, resulting in equivalent bioactivity to that of non-biotinylated proteins. We internally test new lots with previous lots to also ensure high lot-to-lot consistency. Use our biotinylated recombinant proteins for protein detection, purification, functional analyses, and other protein research applications.

We are committed to empowering cancer research and advancements toward novel immunotherapies. Immune checkpoints are cell surface molecules that regulate T cell functions and activities, but which can also be exploited by tumor cells to evade immune control. Research is focusing on targeting immune checkpoints for cancer immunotherapy. Our biotinylated recombinant immune checkpoint proteins are ideal tools for studying cancer biology and anti-tumor immunity.

Human CD86-Fc Chimera (Cat. No. 775602) is immobilized at 1.0 µg/mL. Biotinylated Recombinant Human CTLA-4-Fc Chimera binds with an EC50 of 12 - 48 ng/mL. HRP Avidin (Cat. No. 405103) was used to detect the binding.

Human B7-H1 (PD-L1, CD274)-Fc chimera is immobilized at 1 μg/mL. Biotinylated recombinant human PD-1 (CD279)-Fc chimera binds in a dose-dependent manner. The EC50 range for this effect is 25 - 100 ng/mL. HRP Avidin (Cat. No. 405103) was used to detect the binding.
