Can detect human CD34+ hematopoeitic stem/progenitor cells with very low background.

Experimental Design

Application:	Flow cytometry
Cells used:	Human umbilical cord blood mononuclear cells
Brief Protocol:	Add 3x10^5 human umbilical cord blood mononuclear cells (CB-MNCs) in a tube. Add 50 ul diluted antibody (5 ul antibody + 45 ul PBS+2%FBS) to cells. Incubate at 4 deg C for 20-30 min. Wash 2X with PBS+2%FBS. Acquire on flow cytometer.
Results Summary:	Could detect human CD34+ human HSPCs in umbilical cord blood.
Additional Notes:	Very little background. Useful for detection of CD34+ cells pre- and post-enrichment for HSPC isolation.
