Description

Giantin is a membrane-inserted component of the cis and medial Golgi with a large rod-like cytoplasmic domain. This antibody serves as an excellent marker for the Golgi complex in mammalian cells.

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunocytochemistry.

The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition.

Application Notes

This antibody is effective in immunoblotting (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF).

*Predicted MW = 367 kD. Western transfer should be conducted in the presence of 0.1% SDS. After transfer, rinse blot with 50% MeOH to remove any residual SDS.
