Clearly distinguishes CD5+ blood leukocytes from CD5- cells.

Experimental Design

Application:	Flow Cytometry
Cells used:	Peripheral blood leukocytes
Brief Protocol:	Collected 25 uL blood. Washed once in cold PBS. Lysed red blood cells. Washed once in cold PBS. Stained cells in 100 uL cold PBS containing Live/Dead and TruStain Fc block (2 ug/mL) on ice for 15 minutes. Added 100 uL cold PBS containing isotype control (4 ug/mL) or CD5 FITC (4 ug/mL) and incubated on ice for 15 minutes. Washed in cold PBS. Fixed in 100 uL 1.5% PFA until analysis.
Results Summary:	CD5+ peripheral blood leukocytes were clearly distinguished from CD5- peripheral blood leukocytes.
Additional Notes:	All plots show live single cells based on live/dead exclusion. Left contour plot shows staining of peripheral blood leukocytes with isotype control. Middle contour plot shows staining of peripheral blood leukocytes with CD5 FITC. Right contour plot shows overlay of peripheral blood leukocytes stained with isotype control (red) or CD5 FITC (black).
