Functional staining to detect epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM).

Experimental Design

Application:	Flow cytometry
Cells used:	Human tumor/ infiltrate
Brief Protocol:	Cell suspension was plated in 96-well plate at 2-4 million cells/ well. Antibody was added in proper flow buffer at 1:100 for 30 minutes in the dark at 4 degrees Celsius. Used in conjunction with anti-human CD45 to detect CD45- EpCAM+ cells. Exact application of data has not yet been determined, CD45- EpCAM+ cells were sorted and collected for RNA sequencing later on.
Results Summary:	CD45- EpCAM+ cells were identified.
Additional Notes:	EpCAM is present in some indications of human tumors, absent in others. Percent positive detected varies from sample to sample, some samples have 0% others have about 5%.
