Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a spiral-shaped, gram-negative bacteria that has been associated with chronic gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, and gastric adenocarcinoma. It is found mostly in the stomach but can also be present in other parts of the body such as eye.

Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunohistochemical staining.

The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition.
• IHC: ready-to-use

Tissue Sections: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues
Pretreatment: Pepsin digestion for 20 minutes at 37°C.
Incubation: 20 minutes at room temperature with Biotin based detection systems such as USA Ultra Streptavidin Detection (Cat. No. 929501).

Application Notes

This antibody is effective in immunohistochemistry (IHC).

Positive tissue (human): Helicobacter pylori infected cells or tissue
