Experimental Design

Application:	Flow Cytometry
Cells used:	Human Whole Blood
Brief Protocol:	Monensin is used in a final concentration of 2mM. Stimulate whole blood in the presence of Monensin for 5 hours, followed by washing, staining surface markers, fixation, permeabilization and staining cytokines.
Results Summary:	Monensin inhibits the protein transport very well and is absolutely advisable for ICS.
