Description

HLA-C belongs to the HLA class I heavy chain paralogues. MHC class I heavy chains associate with β2-microglobulin and are expressed on nearly all nucleated cells. MHC class I molecules are involved in the presentation of antigens to CD8+ T cells and thereby play an important role in cell-mediated immune responses and immune surveillance.

Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 1.0 µg per million cells in 100 µL volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
