Perm Buffer for Intracellular Staining of Cells

The buffer is used for permeabilization of cells and consequent washing of the cells.

Experimental Design

Application:	Flow Cytometry
Cells used:	Whole blood in EDTA
Brief Protocol:	The whole blood is first lysed to get rid of the RBC's. Then fix/perm buffer is added to the washed cells and allowed to incubate for 30 mins. The appropriate antibody is then added along with the perm buffer, after washing the cells. They are allowed to incubate for 30 mins and then washed with perm buffer and resuspended for reading on the instrument.
Results Summary:	Works well for intracellular staining.
