APC anti-human CCR2 expressed on rabbit primary isolated splenocytes

Experimental Design

Application:	Flow cytometry
Cells used:	New zealand white rabbit primary isolated spleen cells
Brief Protocol:	Dissect out spleen from fresh euthanized rabbit, homogenize the spleen, use lymphocyte separation media to isolate monocytes. Wash three times with media. Block cells with human IgG for 30min at RT, then label cells with APC anti-human CCR2 antibody, 5 ul/million cells, wash three times with flow buffer, and perform flow cytometry.
Results Summary:	About 5% of the monocytes expressed CCR2.

Technical Service Notes

Please note that this product is not validated in-house on rabbit samples. As this customer did, you would have to test the product empirically to see if it works on other species not listed in the reactivity section of the TDS. The R3 gate was used to look for CCR2 (APC) staining. The R4 gate was used to check CCR1 (Alexa Fluor 488) staining.
