Using Brillian Violet 421™ is a great marker to include in your flow cytometry panel.

Experimental Design

Application:	Flow Cytometry
Cells used:	Human PBMCs
Brief Protocol:	Human PBMCs were isolated and 5 million cells were stimulated with IL-17 for 24 hours. Cells were then stained for extracellular antibodies for the markers of CD45, CD14, CD86, HLA-DR, and CCR2.
Results Summary:	CCR2 detection was very clear since it was conjugated to Brilliant Violet 421™.
Additional Notes:	I was worried I was not going to be able to detect or visualize CCR2 expression on the external surface of the cell. I had no problems visualizing this marker when conjugated to BV421. I will definitely choose this conjugation when I need to look at a rare population or ligand.
