Killer cell lectin-like receptor subfamily G member 1 (KLRG1) is a membrane protein expressed by subsets of NK cells, and memory and effector T cells. It inhibits cell activation and proliferation and is also used to indicate T cell senescence. Given the importance of T cell and NK cells in cancer (and other disease states), it’s vital for researchers to have the right reagents at hand to analyze KLRG1. BioLegend now provides two human-specific clones for the detection of KLRG1.
