Streptavidin-PerCP/Cy5.5
405214 100 µg $250.00
Clone: Streptavidin
Formulation: Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide.
Preparation: Streptavidin is conjugated with PerCP/Cy5.5 under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated PerCP/Cy5.5 and unconjugated Streptavidin.
Concentration: 0.2 mg/ml
Storage & Handling: The Streptavidin-PerCP/Cy5.5 solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
Application: FC, ICFC
Recommended Usage: Each lot of this Streptavidin-PerCP/Cy5.5 is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the recommended use of this reagent is ≤ 0.25 µg per 106 cells in 100 µl staining volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

* PerCP/Cy5.5 has a maximum absorption of 482 nm and 564 nm and a maximum emission of 690 nm.
Application
Notes:
Streptavidin-PerCP/Cy5.5 is useful as a second step reagent for indirect immunofluorescent staining, when used in conjunction with biotinylated primary antibodies.
C57BL/6 splenocytes stained with biotinylated

C57BL/6 splenocytes stained with biotinylated 145-2C11, followed by Sav-PerCP/Cy5.5

Description:

Streptavidin binds to biotin with high affinity. Streptavidin-PerCP/Cy5.5 is useful for detecting biotinylated antibodies. The excitation of PerCP/Cy5.5 by 488 nm laser light induces a light emission maximum of 690 nm.
