Clone:
Streptavidin
Formulation:
Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide. |
Preparation:
Streptavidin is conjugated with FITC under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated FITC and unconjugated Streptavidin. |
Concentration:
0.5 mg/ml |
Storage & Handling:
The Streptavidin-FITC solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze. |
Application:
FC, ICFC |
Recommended Usage:
Each lot of this Streptavidin-FITC is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the recommended use of this reagent is ≤ 0.5 µg per 106 cells in 100 µl staining volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. |
Application Notes:
Streptavidin-FITC is useful as a second step reagent for indirect immunofluorescent staining, in conjunction with biotinylated primary antibodies. |
