Purified anti-TACC3
Catalog # / Size:
618801 / 50 µl (5 Western blots)
618802 / 200 µl (20 Western blots)

Hela cell extract was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with rabbit anti-TACC3 antibody. Proteins were visualized using a donkey anti-rabbit secondary conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.

Immunofluorescent microscope analysis of nocodazole treated Hela cells (10mM for overnight), using TACC3 polyclonal antibody (green). b-tubulin has been labeled with red and nuclei were stain with DAPI (blue).

Clone:
Poly6188
Isotype:
Rabbit IgG
Reactivity:
Human (recognizes TA-isoforms)
Formulation:
This antibody is provided in phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Preparation:
The antibody was purified by antigen-affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Upon receipt, store frozen at -20° C.

WB, IF
Recommended Usage:
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by Western blotting. Western blotting, suggested working dilution(s): Use 10 μl per 5 ml antibody dilution buffer for each mini-gel. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Description:

TACC3 (transforming, acidic coiled-coil containing protein 3) is a approximately 90 kD protein that is a member of the TACC family containing a coiled-coil domain. TACC3 is localized at the centrosomal/mitotic spindle-associated during S/M/G2 phases of the cell cycle. This protein has been shown to be essential for hematopoietic stem cell expansion, to interface with p53-regulated apoptosis, and play a possible role in hypoxic responses. TACC3 can also mediate cellular differentiation and is upregulated by Epo in various cancer lines and downregulated by 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D(3). TACC3 has been shown to interact with STAT5, ARNT, and ARNT2. The Poly6188 antibody recognizes human TA isoforms of the TACC3 protein and has been shown to be useful for Western blotting.
