PE anti-human CD143 (Angiotensin-converting enzyme) Antibody
PE anti-human CD143 (Angiotensin-converting enzyme) Antibody
The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with PE under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated PE and unconjugated antibody.
Storage & Handling:
The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. Test size products are transitioning from 20 µl to 5 µl per test. Please check your vial or your CoA to find the suggested use of this reagent per million cells in 100 µl staining volume or per 100 µl of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. Read more at www.biolegend.com/testsize regarding the test size change.

CD143 (ACE, kininase II, peptidyl dipeptidase 1, peptidase P, carboxycathepsin) is a 171 kD, type I, single chain transmembranal metallopeptidase which cofactor is zinc. His main targets are angiotensin I and bradykinin, acting as a blood pressure regulator. CD143 is expressed in endothelial cells, different degrees of CD143 has been reported in different epithelial cells; the activation of macrophages and histiocytes induces the expression of this molecule.
Other Names:
ACE, kininase II, dipeptidyl dipeptidase 1, peptidase P, carboxycathepsin
Structure:
Single chain type I transmembranal zinc metallopeptidase 170 kD
Distribution:
Endothelial cells, some types of epithelial cells, activated macrophages and histiocytes.
Function:
Regulates blood pressure by promoting vasoconstriction by the convertion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II and by the degradation of bradykinin, a vasodilator.
Ligand Receptor:
Angiotensin I, bradykinin
Bioactivity/Activities:
Blood pressure regulator
