Clone: MPC-11
Isotype: Mouse IgG2b, κ
Formulation: Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing no preservative. 0.2 μm filter sterilized. Endotoxin level is < 0.1 EU/μg of the protein (< 0.01 ng/μg of the protein) as determined by the LAL test.
Preparation: The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Storage & Handling: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 °C. This LEAF™ solution contains no preservative; handle under aseptic conditions.
Application: FC - Quality Tested
ICFC*, WB*, IP*, ICC*, IF*, FA * - *This application has been reported in the literature.
Recommended Usage: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis as negative control, and the purity is greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. Use at concentrations comparable to those of the specific antibody of interest.
Application
Notes:
The MPC-11 immunoglobulin is useful as an isotype-matched control (for the relevant formats) for Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunohistochemistry, functional assay, immunofleorescence microscopy, immunocytochemistry and immunofluorescent staining (surface or intracellular) for flow cytometric analysis. The LEAF™ purified antibody (Endotoxin <0.1 EU/μg, Azide-Free, 0.2 μm sterile-filtered) is recommended for functional assays (Cat. No. 400324) as negative control.

Description: The MPC-11 immunoglobulin has unknown specificity. The isotype of this antibody is mouse IgG2b,κ. This antibody was chosen as an isotype control after screening on a variety of resting, activated, live, and fixed mouse, rat and human tissues.
