Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing no preservative. 0.2 μm filter sterilized. Endotoxin level is < 0.1 EU/μg of the protein (< 0.01 ng/μg of the protein) as determined by the LAL test.
Preparation:
The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.
Concentration:
1 mg/ml
Storage & Handling:
The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 °C. This LEAF™ solution contains no preservative; handle under aseptic conditions.
Application:
FC-Quality Tested WB, IP, Costimulation* - *This application has been reported in the literature.
Recommended Usage:
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 0.5 µg per 106 cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Application Notes:
Additional reported applications include: Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and costimulation (synergistic with anti-IgM) of B cell activation. The LEAF™ purified antibody (Endotoxin <0.1 EU/μg, Azide-Free, 0.2 μm sterile-filtered) is recommended for functional assays (Cat. No. 115514).

CD57BL/6 mouse splenocytes stained with LEAF™ purified 6D5, followed by anti-rat IgG FITC
Description:
CD19 is a 95 kD glycoprotein, also known as B4. It is a member of the Ig superfamily, expressed on all pro-B to mature B cells (during development) and follicular dendritic cells. Plasma cells do not express CD19. CD19, in association with CD21 and CD81 forms a molecular complex integral to B cell activation.
Other Names:
B4
Structure:
Ig superfamily, associates with CD21 and CD81, 95 kD
Distribution:
Pro-B to mature B (during development), follicular dendritic cells
Function:
Modulates B cell activation and differentiation
Ligand Receptor:
CD21, CD81, Leu-13
