Storage & Handling:
The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4 °C. This LEAF™ solution contains no preservative; handle under aseptic conditions.
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 1.0 µg per 106 cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance in each application.

Mouse TWEAK transfected cells stained with LEAF™ purified MTW-1, followed by biotinylated anti-rat IgG and Sav-PE
TWEAK is a 27 kD protein also known as Tumor necrosis factor superfamily member 12 (TNFSF12), TNF-related weak inducer of apoptosis, and CD255. TWEAK is a type II transmembrane protein expressed on a variety of cell types. A soluble form of TWEAK is produced by proteolytic processing. TWEAK binds to the TWEAK receptor, FN14, to induce apoptosis, NF-κB translocation, promote angiogenesis and endothelial cell proliferation. It has also been implicated in the induction of inflammatory cytokines.
