400109 25 tests $40.00
400110 100 tests $90.00
Clone: MOPC-21
Isotype: Mouse IgG1, κ
Formulation: Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide, 0.2% (w/v) BSA (USA origin).
Preparation: The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with FITC under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated FITC, and is formulated for cell surface immunofluorescent staining as negative control.
Storage & Handling: The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
Application: FC
Recommended Usage: Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by cell surface immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis as negative control. For cell surface immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 20 µl per 106 cells in 100 µl volume or 20 µl per 100 µl of whole blood.
Application
Notes:
The MOPC-21 immunoglobulin is useful as an isotype-matched control (for the relevant formats) for Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunohistochemistry, functional assay, immunofleorescence microscopy, immunocytochemistry and immunofluorescent staining (surface or intracellular) for flow cytometric analysis. The LEAF™ purified antibody (Endotoxin <0.1 EU/μg, Azide-Free, 0.2 μm sterile-filtered) is recommended for functional assays (Cat. No. 400124) as negative control.

Description: The MOPC-21 immunoglobulin has unknown specificity. The isotype of this antibody is mouse IgG1,κ. This antibody was chosen as an isotype control after screening on a variety of resting, activated, live, and fixed mouse, rat and human tissues.
