FC - Quality tested
ELISA, IHC, IF, WB- Reported in the literature

Recommended Usage:

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤0.25 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Notes:

This biotinylated polyclonal goat anti-rat IgG antibody is useful for ELISA, Western blot, IHC, and immunofluorescent staining for flow cytometry.

This polyclonal goat anti-mouse IgG antibody reacts with the heavy chains of mouse IgG and with the light chains common to most mouse immunoglobulins. No cross-reactivity has been detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. This antibody has been solid-phase absorbed to ensure minimal cross-reaction with rat, human, bovine, horse, and rabbit immunoglobulins, but it may cross-react with other subclasses of mouse immunoglobulins.

Description:

IgG antibodies are approximately 150 kD in size, with each heavy chain at 50 kD and each light chain at 25 kD. IgG is the most abundant serum immunoglobulin found in circulation. In humans, mice, and rats, there have been 4 IgG subclasses identified and distinguished by the number of disulfide bonds and hinge region of each subclass (IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, and IgG4).
