The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with Alexa Fluor® 647 under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated Alexa Fluor® 647.
Storage & Handling:
The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.
Application:
FC
Recommended Usage:
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 0.25 µg per 106 cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

LOU rat splenocytes stained with OX-52 Alexa Fluor® 647
Description:
Rat CD6 is a membrane molecule of 95-120 kd,expressedprimarily on all the T lymphocytes of alpha/beta or gamma/delta TCR.Rat NK cells express low levels of CD6.In immunoprecipitation studies,CD6 was found to co-precipitate with highly phorsphorylated CD5,and other protein kinases, such as Lck,Fyn ZAP70 and Itk.
Other Names:
OX-52 antigen, T12
Structure:
A membrane protein of about 100kd, 665 amino acids.
Distribution:
Positive on all peripheral T lymphocytes and thymocytes expressing either ab and gd T cell receptors. Rat NK cells express low level of CD6.
Interaction:
Rat CD6 associates with protein kinases of different families, including CD5, the Src kinases of Lck and Fyn, the ZAP-70 and Tec family kinase Itk.
Bioactivity/Activities:
Important role in the regulation of phosphorylation of CD5 and other molecules.
