The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with Alexa Fluor® 488 under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated Alexa Fluor® 488, and is formulated for cell surface immunofluorescent staining as negative control.

Recommended Usage:
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by cell surface immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis as negative control. For cell surface immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 µl per 106 cells or 5 µl per 100 µl of whole blood.

Application Notes:
The MOPC-21 immunoglobulin is useful as an isotype-matched control (for the relevant formats) for Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunohistochemistry, functional assay, immunofleorescence microscopy, immunocytochemistry and immunofluorescent staining (surface or intracellular) for flow cytometric analysis. The LEAF™ purified antibody (Endotoxin <0.1 EU/μg, Azide-Free, 0.2 μm sterile-filtered) is recommended for functional assays (Cat. No. 400124) as negative control.
